Dynamic LoDs with Curved Poly Runtime

Curved Poly - Shape Editor Unity Asset Store

CurvedPoly - Shape Editor is an extension for Unity Editor. It contains a set of instruments which can be used for a rapid reshaping of simple objects. It's also a required component for all other Curved Poly Tools, like Shape Control or Curved Poly Maker.

Advanced Primitives and Libraries (new in version 1.1)

With version 1.1 of Curved Poly Shape Editor, 80+ new primitives and sample models have been added! Now you can easily experiment new features and shape types which were recently added to curved poly. We also added a shape previewer in the inspector to help you choose what you want to use.

With this version we also added Curved Poly Libraries. With libraries you can collect more shapes into single file.

see the new Assets and Libraries section in the Docs.

Pointings Operator

Curved Poly Behaviour

Pointing Operator allows you to active single elements at a time, usually with a click. Elements can be vertices, handles, edges or (curved) polygons. Once you activate an element, you can access ad hoc controls to change that element position and properties. If you wish to know more about this, you can find more on the Pointing Operator page.

Selections Operator

Curved Poly Behaviour

Selection Operator allows you to select more elements at once. There is a good group of alternative options for selection, which make it easy to choose which elements you need to select. Once your selection is set, you can change position, rotation or scaling of the entire group. If you wish to know more about this, you can find more on the Selection Operator page.

Elasticities

Every time you move a vertex (or a group of vertices), all curved edges attached to that vertex must be updated. Curved Poly makes the curves elastic with a set of operators which change the shape of each curve. There are 4 different elasticity schema to choose, and you can change which one to use at any time. If you wish to know more about this, you can find more on the Elasticities Documentation page.

Tessellation Operator

Curved Poly Behaviour

Tessellation Operator allows you to control how tessellation algorithms will work at runtime. This is achieved by assigning a set of easy-to-use and easy-to-understand hints (from A to P ) on each curved edge. If you wish to know more about this, you can find more on the Tessellation Operator Documentation.
